In this residential application, New England Stone utilized slabs of fine, semi-precious Israeli quartz by Caesarstone to create a back-lit, exquisite kitchen countertop application. As detailed by the accompanying photos, every stage of the project required precision and exactness. NES craftsmen carefully routed out no-drip areas and other necessary indentations, while carefully mitering the corners for a seamless, solid look. Lights were installed beneath the material so that, when backlit, the quartz clearly “speaks” its semi-preciousness while maintaining its tried and tested durability and ease-of-care demanded by so many contemporary kitchens.
