New England Stone recently installed Glassos crystallized glass countertops in a high-end waterfront home.
Glassos crystallized glass is created by sintering select minerals and fusing the sintered crystals together through intense high temperature. Crystallized glass is as hard as granite and never requires sealing. Since the material has zero porosity, it will not stain and has resistance to abrasion and scratching.
Aside from Glassos, this home also featured countertops and vanities fabricated in both Calacatta Gold and White Carrara Marble. As a compliment to the showers tiled in fine mosaic marbles, NES fabricated and installed custom shower door frames and jams from premium white marble.
The client also selected fine limestone for the main fireplace surround. NES can customize fireplace surrounds and hearths from both single pieces and multiple pieces. Utilizing the craftsmanship and skill of our workers, we are able to create virtually seamless surrounds in three pieces. This offers clients a more economically-friendly approach to fireplace surrounds. For our clients who desire truly seamless surrounds, we offer one-piece surrounds in a variety of colors and materials.
